Drone Data plans, flies and processes drone missions for energy, construction and real estate clients across Romania. The company was founded by lead pilot Teofil Anghel and is operated by WEALTH FLUX SRL.

From aerial work to data acquisition

Drone Data was founded by Teofil Anghel, who is also the lead pilot. The same person plans the mission, flies the drone and checks the data before delivery, so the spec written in the quote reaches the field and the report unchanged. We have more than 5 years of experience in aerial work.

We work for solar asset owners, O&M contractors, international analytics platforms and pilot networks, facility managers, builders and real-estate agencies. In 2026 we flew more than 120 MW of PV capacity, including a 60 MWp site in Alba County flown to the spec of a German analytics company.

We deliver what a decision needs: a classified anomaly list, an orthomosaic, a 3D model, a 360° tour or an edited film. Files stay complete and unaltered, with EXIF and GPS data intact, so your team or your platform can process them without rework.

We also film and photograph for marketing. More than 20 solar parks have been filmed for promotion and investor updates, and 8 public 360° tours of resorts, hotels, villas and construction sites are online.

Equipment we fly

  • DJI Mavic 3T

    Our main thermal platform: a 640×512 radiometric thermal sensor, a 48 MP wide RGB camera and 56× hybrid zoom. Every thermal frame comes with its RGB pair.

  • DJI Matrice 350 RTK

    A heavier platform with RTK positioning, available for larger missions and payloads beyond the Mavic class.

  • Mavic 3 Enterprise and LiDAR

    A mapping camera for photogrammetry surveys, with LiDAR missions available on request.

Software in our workflow

  • Scopito

    Platform-based analysis of PV thermal data: anomaly classification, severity scoring and client-ready reports.

  • RealityCapture

    Photogrammetry processing for orthomosaics, digital surface models and textured 3D models.

  • CloudCompare

    Point cloud cleaning, comparison and measurement, including stockpile and excavation volumes.

  • ROMPOS PPK

    Post-processed positioning with the Romanian ROMPOS correction service. With ground control points, horizontal accuracy reaches 2–5 cm.

Certifications and flight rules

  • EASA open category A1/A3 and A2

    Our pilots hold the EASA A2 certificate of competency and the A1/A3 proof of online training for the open category. Copies are sent on request.

  • Flights under AACR rules

    We fly under the rules of the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority (AACR) and handle local airspace checks and authorizations before each mission.

  • IEC TS 62446-3 acquisition conditions

    PV thermal flights follow the IEC TS 62446-3 recommendations: irradiance of at least 600 W/m², clear sky and wind within the drone's limits.
