Data acquisition partner
Your drone data acquisition partner in Romania
We fly PV sites to your platform spec and deliver complete, EXIF-intact RGB/IR datasets in your folder structure or through your uploader, within 24–48 h of the flight. We mobilize anywhere in Romania in 24–72 h and report every deviation from the spec in writing.

Solar inspection drone pilots for platforms and O&M
We are the local thermal drone pilot team for companies that own the analysis or the asset. Your spec, your client relationship, our flights.
PV analytics platforms
You own the spec and the analysis pipeline. We supply Romanian flights built to pass your ingest checks, with no travel costs from abroad.
Pilot networks
You dispatch the missions. We take the Romanian sites, fly them to the network brief and upload RGB/IR folder pairs through your uploader.
O&M contractors
You maintain the plant. We fly the inspection, run the Scopito analysis and hand over a report your field team can act on, as we did as subcontractor on a shopping-center rooftop in Iași.
EPCs and asset owners
You need data at handover, before a warranty expires or for a yearly campaign. We schedule it and deliver to the platform you use.
Acquisition specification
Default values, taken from the platform missions we flew in 2026. Before the first flight we set every parameter to your brief and confirm it in writing.

|---|---|---|
| Thermal GSD | 3–6 cm | 3 cm detailed, 6 cm overview |
| Overlap | 85% front, 65% side | |
| Irradiance | ≥ 600 W/m² | Measured on site, logged per flight |
| Sky, wind, time | Clear sky, wind within limits, around solar noon | |
| Image pairs | One RGB frame for every thermal frame | |
| Metadata | EXIF, GPS and radiometric payload intact | Byte-identical files, no re-encoding |
| Folder structure | Per platform, for example RGB/IR folder pairs | |
| Upload | Within 24–48 h of the flight | Through your uploader or into your folder structure |
| Mobilization | 24–72 h anywhere in Romania | |
| Daily capacity | Up to about 50 MW per flight day | In good irradiance |
| Coverage | All Romanian counties | Neighboring countries on request |
Acquisition conditions follow the recommendations of IEC TS 62446-3. Altitude and flight direction relative to the rows are set per platform spec.
How a partner mission runs
Brief
You send the site list, capacities, spec sheet and deadlines. We confirm feasibility and price per site within 24 h on working days.
Flight plan per spec
We set GSD, overlap, altitude, flight direction relative to the rows and the time window, then check the airspace.
Weather and irradiance window
We track the forecast and fly on the first day that meets your irradiance and sky requirements.
Acquisition and coverage check
We fly, log irradiance on site and check coverage block by block before the team leaves.
QC and upload
We run the blur, coverage and file-count checks, then upload within 24–48 h of the flight.
Mission log
You receive flight times, irradiance readings, weather, file counts and any deviation from the spec, in one log per site.
Quality control before every upload
Coverage check
On site, we verify that every block was captured at the required overlap. Gaps are reflown while the irradiance window is still open.
Blur check
We review the frames for motion blur and focus errors and refly the affected lines instead of sending weak frames.
Irradiance log
Irradiance is measured on site and logged for every flight, so each dataset carries a record of its acquisition conditions.
File-count reconciliation
Thermal and RGB counts are reconciled per folder before upload. A missing pair is found by us, not by your ingest.
Data integrity
Files are copied byte-identical, with no re-encoding. EXIF, GPS and the radiometric payload stay exactly as the drone wrote them.
Accepted at first submission
Every dataset delivered to a platform or pilot network so far was accepted at first submission, with no reflight requested.
Every Romanian county, from one local team
We fly in all Romanian counties from our base in the Bucharest and Ilfov area, with mobilization in 24–72 h. In 2026 we flew missions in Alba, Satu Mare, Prahova and Iași counties. For partner missions we also fly in neighboring countries on request. A local team means no travel costs from abroad, a fast reaction to weather windows and a Romanian-speaking contact for site operators and security staff.

- Republic of Moldova
- Bulgaria
- Hungary
- Serbia
Compliance and airspace
EASA certified pilots
Our pilots hold EASA open category A1/A3 and A2 certificates. Copies are sent on request before the first mission.
Romanian AACR rules
Every flight follows the rules of AACR, the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority.
Airspace checks and authorizations
We check the airspace for every site and request any authorization a controlled or restricted zone needs before the flight date is confirmed.
Site rules and confidentiality
We follow the access and safety rules of each plant. Partner datasets go only to you and the platform you name.
Romanian on site, English in reporting
We coordinate access and timing with plant staff in Romanian and report to your team in English, through one contact from brief to mission log.
EUR invoicing
WEALTH FLUX SRL, the Romanian company that operates Drone Data, invoices per MW or per flight day, with volume pricing for recurring campaigns.
Specs we fly to
Each platform defines its own GSD, overlap, flight direction, file naming and upload route. We keep a checklist per spec and set the mission to it before the first flight.

Partner questions
Which specs can you fly to?
Any written acquisition spec: thermal GSD of 3–6 cm, the front and side overlap you set (85% and 65% on our platform missions), altitude, flight direction relative to the rows and the time window, at irradiance of at least 600 W/m². In 2026 we flew a park of about 60 MWp and 70 ha in Alba County to 6 cm GSD and 85/65 overlap for a German analytics company. Send your spec sheet and we confirm each parameter in writing.
What is your coverage and mobilization time?
All Romanian counties, with mobilization in 24–72 h. For partner missions we also fly in the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, Hungary and Serbia on request. Because we are based in Romania, a flight can move to the next day with good irradiance without new travel costs.
How do you make sure the dataset is complete?
With four checks before upload: coverage on site, blur review, the irradiance log and file-count reconciliation per folder. Files stay byte-identical, with EXIF, GPS and the radiometric payload intact. Gaps found on site are reflown before we leave. Every dataset we have delivered so far was accepted by the receiving platform at first submission.
Which drones do you use?
The DJI Mavic 3T for PV thermography: a radiometric 640×512 thermal sensor, a 48 MP wide RGB camera and 56× hybrid zoom. For larger missions a DJI Matrice 350 RTK and a Mavic 3 Enterprise are available, with LiDAR on request.
Can you upload directly to our platform?
Yes, through your uploader or into your folder structure, within 24–48 h of the flight. For an international pilot network we delivered a 56.2 MW park in Satu Mare County and a 9.5 MW park in Prahova County as RGB/IR folder pairs through the network's uploader.
How do you price partner work?
Per MW or per flight day, with volume pricing for recurring campaigns, invoiced in EUR by WEALTH FLUX SRL, the Romanian company that operates Drone Data. Send the site list and the spec, and you receive a written price per site within 24 h on working days. Multi-site campaigns are quoted as one package, so the rate reflects the total volume.
Can you handle multi-site campaigns?
Yes. We have captured about 10 PV sites for one pilot network and fly up to about 50 MW per flight day in good irradiance. For a campaign we group sites by region and weather window and report progress per site in the mission log.
Are your pilots certified?
Yes. Our pilots hold EASA open category A1/A3 and A2 certificates, and every flight follows the rules of AACR, the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority. We run an airspace check for every site and request any authorization the zone requires before the flight date. Copies of the certificates are sent on request before the first mission.
