Solar farm thermal inspection
Radiometric thermal and RGB survey of PV plants, with every anomaly classified and located by string and module. Report in 5 working days for plants up to 20 MW.
Survey and mapping
We survey construction sites, land, quarries and solar plants from the air and turn the images into orthomosaics, terrain models, point clouds and volume reports. With ground control, horizontal accuracy is 2–5 cm.
Drone photogrammetry measures a site from overlapping aerial photographs and turns them into maps and 3D models with real coordinates. Construction companies, developers, quarries, municipalities and surveyors receive orthomosaics, terrain models, point clouds and volume reports, with the delivery date fixed in the written quote.
An orthomosaic is a single, distortion-corrected image of the whole site, stitched from hundreds of photos, typically at 2–3 cm per pixel. A digital surface model (DSM) records the height of everything on the ground, buildings and vegetation included. A digital terrain model (DTM) keeps only the bare ground.
Accuracy depends on how the survey is tied to real coordinates. Ground control points (GCP) are markers measured on site. PPK corrects the drone GPS track after the flight with data from ROMPOS, the Romanian reference station network. With GCP or PPK, horizontal accuracy falls in the 2–5 cm range.
We process the images in RealityCapture and work on point clouds in CloudCompare. Every export opens in standard GIS and CAD software, and LiDAR missions are available on request.
Progress maps, earthwork volumes and as-built records for site meetings and payment claims.
A current base map and terrain model for concept design and planning.
Stockpile and pit volumes measured on a schedule, for stock control and reporting.
Aerial data as a subcontractor, delivered in the formats your office already uses.
Base maps of streets, parks and public works, and records of project progress.
Terrain data for site layout before construction and as-built maps after it.
Every square meter of the site is recorded in one survey, including areas that are unsafe or slow to walk.
With GCP or PPK, horizontal accuracy is 2–5 cm, and the delivery states the method so you know what the data supports.
Stockpile and excavation volumes come from the surface model, with no one climbing the material.
GeoTIFF, LAS/LAZ, OBJ, DXF and KML open in the GIS, CAD and BIM tools your team already runs.
The same flight plan and control points give monthly maps that compare directly.
The same images produce the orthomosaic, the models, the contours and the volume report.
Six steps, from the boundary you send to the files you open in your own software.
You send the site boundary, the outputs you need and the required accuracy. A written quote follows within 24 h on working days.
We set GSD, overlap and altitude, plan the ground control or PPK, and check the airspace over the site.
We place and measure the ground control points, or log PPK data referenced to ROMPOS.
We fly the site in a grid, check image coverage on site and refly any gaps before leaving.
RealityCapture builds the orthomosaic, the models and the point cloud. We check the result against the control points.
You receive the files in the agreed formats, with the accuracy method stated and a KML overview of the survey.
Choose the outputs you need. All of them come from the same flight.
Typically 2–3 cm/pixel, georeferenced, ready for GIS and CAD.
Surface and terrain models for design, drainage and cut-and-fill.
LAS/LAZ point cloud for CAD, BIM and analysis in CloudCompare.
OBJ or FBX textured model of the site or a structure.
DXF contours at the interval you specify.
PDF and XLSX report of stockpile or excavation volumes, with the base surface stated.
A light file that opens in Google Earth, for sharing the survey extent.

Cadastral and legal survey documents must be signed by an authorized surveyor. We deliver the data they work from.
A dated orthomosaic of the site every week or month, for progress meetings and payment claims.
Cut-and-fill and stockpile volumes compared with the design surface or the previous survey.
A terrain model and contours as the base for roads, drainage and building layouts.
A georeferenced record of what was built, for handover and the asset register.
Terrain and obstacles mapped before the PV layout is fixed, and an as-built map after construction.
Horizontal accuracy of 2–5 cm with ground control points or PPK corrected through ROMPOS. Without ground control, the model is consistent internally, but its absolute position follows the drone GPS. For measurement work, volumes or design, we recommend GCP or PPK and state the method in the delivery.
GeoTIFF for the orthomosaic, DSM and DTM, LAS or LAZ for point clouds, OBJ or FBX for 3D models, DXF for contour lines, KML for an overview and PDF or XLSX for volume reports. If your software needs a specific coordinate system or format, tell us in the brief.
Yes. We measure stockpile and excavation volumes from the surface model and deliver a PDF and XLSX report per stockpile, with the base surface method stated. Repeating the survey on a fixed schedule, monthly for example, shows stock changes over time with the same control points.
Plan for one to two days on site, including placing the ground control points. For reference, a solar park of about 70 ha was covered in one to two flight days. At 2–3 cm/pixel the image count rises, so the exact duration comes from the flight plan and is stated in the written quote, together with the delivery date for the processed outputs.
Yes, as the aerial part of their work. We deliver orthomosaics, point clouds and terrain models in their formats. Cadastral plans and legal survey documents must be signed by an authorized surveyor, so we do not issue them ourselves, and we tell you this before the quote.
Yes, on request, for sites where photogrammetry reaches its limits. LiDAR measures the ground through gaps in vegetation, so it suits wooded terrain and dense scrub better than photos. We deliver the result as a LAS or LAZ point cloud and a terrain model, in the same formats as a photogrammetry survey.
Drone photogrammetry measures the whole surface at 2–3 cm/pixel instead of a grid of points measured on the ground. Large sites are covered faster, and the orthomosaic records details a point survey never captures. For official documentation, our data supports the work of an authorized surveyor, who signs the cadastral or legal documents.
The price depends on the site area, the required accuracy, the number of ground control points and the outputs: a single orthomosaic costs less than a package with a 3D model, a point cloud and volumes. Recurring monthly surveys are quoted as a series. Send the site boundary and the formats you need, and you receive a written quote within 24 h on working days.
Send the site boundary or a location pin and the outputs you need. You receive a written quote within 24 h on working days.
