A German PV analytics company needed a local acquisition partner for a solar park of about 60 MWp and 70 ha in Alba County. The platform supplied a fixed specification: 6 cm thermal GSD, 85% front and 65% side overlap, and a radiometric DJI Mavic 3T.
GSD, the ground size of one image pixel, sets the flight altitude, so we built the flight plan around it and scheduled the flights near solar noon at irradiance of at least 600 W/m². The site was covered in one to two flight days, with coverage checked on site before leaving.
The client received the complete RGB/IR dataset with EXIF and GPS data intact, in the folder structure the platform requested and ready for its own anomaly analysis.
