We flew this 9.5 MW solar park in Prahova County in June 2026 for an international pilot network, as the data acquisition for a thermal inspection.
The whole acquisition took about 2 h 15 min on site, with a DJI Mavic 3T capturing paired thermal and RGB frames. That pace comes from preparing the mission before arrival: flight lines, altitude and overlap were fixed in advance, so the time on site went into flying and checking coverage.
A park of this size is a typical single-visit mission: one trip, one flight session in the right irradiance window and a complete dataset ready for analysis. Several parks of this size can be combined into one flight day.
